We couldn’t be more astonished at how time has flown. We are now heading in to our 5th season at the Penticton and Naramata Farmers’ Markets! Cameron was voted president of the Penticton Farmers’ Market in 2009, and will be attempting to fill his own shoes again for 2010. Visit www.pentictonfarmersmarket.org for more information.

A rich cornucopia of colours, smells, sounds and flavours. No matter where our travels take us, we always feel at home amid the rustic displays of farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, baking, preserves, honey, spices, flowers and eggs. There’s no better way to get to know a place then to spend an afternoon wandering the decorative stalls that line the local farmers’ market – a celebration of quality produce with a conscience.

rustic breads using 100% organic Canadian wheat, cinnamon buns, granola and focaccia, as well as our signature offering, a traditional French tart, called a Galette. Changing with the seasons, these delicious pastries are filled with the freshest Okanagan fruit available. Tasty and simple, the Galette is the perfect vessel for our local cherries, apricots, peaches, nectarines, plums, apples
and pears.

Our baking is made with only the finest ingredients bought at the market. An inventory
of our well-stocked pantry reveals certified organic flour, honey from the Similkameen Apiary, Organic eggs from our own chickens, organic unrefined cane sugar and real butter.

Buying from local growers is integral to the survival of our food supply. By supporting sustainable farming practices, we help ensure the land dedicated for agricultural
purposes is preserved for future generations. We believe the socially- responsible purchasing decisions we make today will lead to a healthy and happy tomorrow for
our community.
